Joseph Carmen Vernieri

Joseph Carmen Vernieri, 32, of East Stroudsburg, died Wednesday, August 30, 2023.  He was the fiance of Samantha Delano with whom he had shared over ten years of courtship.  Born in Ridgewood, New Jersey, he was a son of Carmen and Helena (Pappalardo) Vernieri.

Joseph worked as an arborist and was happy climbing trees to ensure the job was done accurately.  He was a big gamer and also enjoyed working on cars.  Joseph was a devoted father and huge family man; family always came first and his children were everything to him.  The first day of school was a proud daddy moment he recently shared with his child.

He is survived by his parents; Carmen Vernieri and his wife, Kimberly; Helena Vernieri and her companion, Tony Maranga; fiance and mother to his children, Samantha Delano; children: Lukka, Ryatt, Joseph Delano and baby girl Delano on the way; stepchildren: Maya and Ian Delano; brothers: Michael Vernieri, John Vernieri, Nicholas Pinto, sisters: Lindsey Vernieri, Gabriella Pinto, Avery Pinto, grandparents: Joseph and Joyce Vernieri, Lina Mclachlan, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, step brothers, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law.

A memorial service will take place on Sunday, September 10, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to the time of service.
