Joseph Merwin Obituary

Joseph C. Merwin 73 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Monday July 4, 2022. He was the loving husband of Debra L. (Nicholls) Merwin with whom he had celebrated 44 years of marriage. Born in Orange, New Jersey he was the son of Francis and Margaret (Compton) Merwin.

Joe was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 12 years and he was of the catholic faith. Joe worked in maintenance for the water department for the City of Orange, N.J. Public Works Department for many years.

In addition to his wife Debra he is survived by his children: Steven, Carlos, and Joseph, grandchildren: Steven, Jordan and Zion and his siblings: Veronica, Thomas, Richard, Brendan and Betty. He was preceded in death by a daughter Madeline and a granddaughter Jessica.

Private cremation services were provided by the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360.
