Joseph Anthony Guerra

   Joseph Anthony Guerra, 83, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday November 19, 2024, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the widower of Alice Guerra. Born in Manhattan, New York he was a son of John and Margaret Guerra.

Joseph was residing in the Stroudsburg area since 1997 and prior to that he resided in the New York area. He was employed as a supervisor in the Commercial Cleaning business for many years. He was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville, PA.

Joseph is survived by his children: Alice, Agnes, Josephine, Anthony, Robin and Barbara, 20 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren, siblings: James, Robert and John. He was preceded in death by a son Joseph and siblings: Dorothy, Patricia, and Anthony.

 A Catholic Prayer service will be held on Friday Nov. 22, 2024, at 7:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Burial will be on Saturday November 23, 2024 at 11:30am in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery Hawthorne, NY. The family will receive friends on Thursday November 21, and Friday November 22, 2024, from 4-8:00pm at the funeral home.
