Joseph A. Drane

  Joseph A. Drane of Danville, Pennsylvania passed away on Thursday Oct.3, 2024 in Danville, Pa.  Born in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania, he was the son of James and Anna (King) Drane. Joe was residing in the Danville area for the past 20 years and prior to that he resided in the Delaware Water Gap, Pa. area.

  He was employed as a maître d’ at the Delaware Water Gap Country Club for many years. He was of the Catholic faith.

  He is survived by 2 sons and 4 grandchildren, siblings: Ann, Joan, Kathleen, Sally and Thomas and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings: James, Charles, Jackie and Miriam.

  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday Oct. 10, 2024, at 11:00am from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church 68 Center St. Danville, Pa. 17821. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery Danville, Pa. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of the Mass at the Church. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 is in charge of the arrangements.
