Jorge F. Altamirano

  Jorge F. Altamirano, 80, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Wednesday July 17, 2024. He was the loving husband of Gloria (Chavarria) Altamirano with whom he would have celebrated 55 years of marriage on July 29, of this year.

  Born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras he was the son of Francisco and Hilaria (Martinez) Altamirano. Joseph was residing in the E. Stroudsburg area for the past 23 years. He was an artist and painted loving portraits.

   In addition to his wife Gloria he is survived by a daughter Sandra Altamirano of E. Stroudsburg, Pa.

  A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday July 22, 2024 at 11:00am from St. Luke’s Catholic Church 818 Main St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360, with Fr. Michael Quinnan as celebrant. Burial will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.

  The family will receive friends from 9:30am until 11:00am on Monday July 22, 2024, at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 98th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa.
