John J. Hamill

        John J. Hamill, 64, of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Wednesday June 26, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Antonina (Toni) (Galletta) Hamill. Born in Oceanside, New York, he was the son of James and Susan (Mannino) Hamill.

  John was residing in the Stroudsburg area for the past 5 years and prior to that he resided in the Henryville area for 30 years. He was employed as a cook for many years, and he was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville, Pa.

 In addition to his wife Toni, he is survived by his children: Christina McManus and her husband Joseph, James Hamill, Jennifer Hamill and Chelsey Hamill, 6 grandchildren: Dominic, Cameron, Aria, Conner, Ethan and Liam, and his siblings: Susan Gallagher, James Hamill, Thomas Hamill Joseph Hamill and Valerie Piacentini.

   Funeral services will be held on Sunday June 30, 2024 at 4:00pm at the Joeph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. The family will receive friends from 2:00pm until the time of the services at the funeral home.
