John R. Gillespie

  John R. “Jack” Gillespie 82 of Towanda, Pa. passed away on Friday May 26, 2023, at his home.  Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of John and Genevieve (Zielinski) Gillespie. Jack was a resident of the Towanda area for the past 15 years and prior to that he resided in the Scotrun, Pa. area. He was of the catholic faith. He was employed as an electrician most of his life.

  He is survived by a brother: Richard J. Gillespie and his wife Donna of Lambertville, New Jersey.

    Graveside services and entombment will be held on Wednesday May 31, 2023, at 11:00am in the Mountainview Mausoleum at Prospect Cemetery East Stroudsburg, Pa. 18301.
