John R. Donatien

John R. Donatien, 91, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Saturday, October 28, 2023, at home with his family by his side.  He was the loving husband of Wendy Carrington-Donatien.  Born in Trinidad, he was the son of the late Laura Fortune.

John lived in East Stroudsburg for the past three years. Prior to that, he resided in Wheatley Heights, New York.  He worked in the maintenance in the electrical department for airlines.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Bernadine Sarmiento; Allison Donatien; Anthony Donatien; grandchildren: Tiffany Carrasquillo; John Carl Sarmiento; great grandchildren: Edwin, Valentino, Theodore, and Nyla.

Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
