John R. Burch – May 3, 1959 – January 11, 2024
John passed peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving wife and his daughter.
John is survived by his wife and high school sweetheart for 43 years, Clarissa Burch; his daughter Jessica and son Jason, his partner, Felicia Ninni, his granddaughter Kylie O’Connor, his sister Cindy Newport and her husband Ray and their son Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents Earl R. Burch and Aileen Barna Burch.
John was born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and graduated from Stroudsburg High School, class of ’77 and went on to get an associate degree from Williamsport Community College. He started his own drywall business, Rocket drywall, he retired in 2015.
He was an avid snowmobile rider as he started working on snowmobiles at a young age and had a rental business from the early 70’s – 90’s with his father. He was a huge Eagles football fan, “Fly, Eagles, Fly.” He was on a bowling league for over 20 years. Oh, and let’s not forget his 1986 Honda Shadow motorcycle, his prized possession.
He was the light of parties and the light in people’s life. He will be deeply missed.
