Joan E. MacDougall

Joan E. MacDougall 87 of Henryville, Pa. passed away on Monday Dec. 30, 2024. She was the wife of Robert MacDougall of New York City. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of Jacob and Loretta (Murry) Grieshaber.

  Joan was residing with her son John in Henryville, Pa. for the past 4 years and prior to that she resided in the Nevada and New York City areas. She was employed as a Executive Secretary for the New York City Senate for many years. Joan was of the catholic faith belonging to St. Theresa Church in New York.

  Joan is survived by her husband Robert and 4 children: John MacDougall of Henryville, Pa., Edward MacDougall of Henderson, NV., Donald MacDougall of New York City, and Loretta Leondis of Mt. Pocono, Pa. and 2 grandchildren: Eileen and Katie and a great granddaughter Kaylee.

  Cremation services were provided by the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. There will be a memorial mass at St. Theresa Catholic Church in New York at a late date with burial of her ashes in the Calvary Cemetery Woodside, N.Y.
