Jessica Leah Dokachev, 50, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025. She was the loving wife of Michael W. Dokachev with whom she had celebrated 26 years of marriage. Born in Bay Shore, New York, she was the daughter of Mary (Birnbaum) Thiesen of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania and the late Raymond J. Thiesen.
Jessica was residing in the East Stroudsburg area for the past 21 years and prior to that spent time in New Jersey near her husband's hometown of Nutley. She grew up in Islip Terrace on Long Island, New York. Jessica had rich ties to her community. She had a history of running food banks and was supportive of local farms and organic produce. She was passionate about her boys and served in volunteer roles at the karate dojo her boys are involved in. She was a fabulous homemaker who loved cooking, knitting, and gardening. Her dedication to her family was unsurpassed.
In addition to her husband and mother she is survived by her sons: Michael Dokachev; Jack Dokachev; brother: Ray Thiesen and a sister Courtney Wisdom.
There will be a memorial service on Saturday December 13, 2025, from 12:00noon until 2:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
