Jerome C. Chromey

      Jerome “Jerry” C. Chromey 71, of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Monday Dec. 9, 2024. He was the loving husband of Margaret Anne (Ferry) Chromey with whom he had celebrated 29 years of marriage. Born in Pittston, Pa. he was the son of Harold and Anna (Cindrich) Chromey.

  Jerry was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 29 years and he was employed as Director of Special Education for the Stroudsburg School District for many years. He was of the Polish National Catholic Faith.

  In addition to his wife Margaret Anne he is survived by 2 sons: Michael J. Chromey and his wife Natasha of Bath, Pa. and Stephen J. Chromey of Stroudsburg, Pa. and a stepson Joshua Carlson and his wife Amanda of Pleasantville, N.Y., 3 grandchildren: Alexa, Alyssa and Michael and his siblings: Paul Chromey, William Chromey, David Chromey and Beverly Bartoli.

   Private cremation services were provided by the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360
