Jeffrey J. Augugliaro, 56, of Stroud Township, PA. passed away on Monday July 8, 2024. He was the loving husband of Maggie (Arredondo) Augugliaro with whom he had celebrated 25 years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of Isabel (Hilliard) Baker of Conway, S.C. and the late Victor Augugliaro.
Early on, Jeff could be seen in front of his house in Ridgewood, NY, diligently working on his gold Impala, carefully honing it into the awesome beast that it would eventually become! Once married and having established his beloved family, he orchestrated their move to the beautiful Poconos where they have thrived happily in Stroud Township for 20 years. A deeply religious man, he found great joy in spending time with his family. He especially enjoyed attending his children’s various sports games and concerts. He got a kick out of playing catch with their talented kitty, Luna, although his love of cats started with their late October and her excellent chipmunk hunting skills. A skilled mechanic, he just celebrated his 27th Anniversary working for MTA Bus, LaGuardia Depot (formerly Triboro Coach). He was ever so close to retirement, counting the days until his arduous commute would become a distant memory.
In addition to his wife Maggie, he is survived by his children: Max, Angelina and Jacqueline all of Stroud Township, PA; brothers: Robert and wife Yanee of New Mexico; Nick of Texas; and Steve and wife Angel of Hawaii; nieces L’Oreal, Kimberly, and Andrea; a nephew Joey; a lovely well-blended family and many, many devoted friends. Two nieces, Kanani and Anolani preceded him in death.
There will be a funeral service on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 at 3:00 PM, a viewing will take place from 1:00 - 4:00 PM. Private cremation will follow.
