Jean Vurro

  Jean Vurro 91 of Bushkill, Pa. passed away at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Felix Vurro with whom she had celebrated 71 years of marriage. Born in Queens, New York she was the daughter of John and Jean (Callwood) Anderson.

 Jean was a resident of the Bushkill area for the past 40 years and prior to that she resided in the Queens, New York area. She was a member of the Church of St. John’s in East Stroudsburg, Pa.

  In addition to her husband Feliz she is survived by 2 sons John Vurro and his wife Antionette and Philip Vurro and his wife Sonia, 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Debra Parsi and Diane Lomanico.

 A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday May 21, 2021 at 10:30am from the Church of St. John’s 5171 Milford Rd. E. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18302 with Fr. Gregory A. Reichlen as celebrant. Burial will be in the Sandhill Cemetery Bushkill, Pa. There will be a viewing on Thursday May 20, 2021 from 4-6:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360
