Janice M. Courter

Janice M. Courter, 81, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at her home.  Born in Morristown, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Marvin and Vivian (Mills) Hoover. 

Janice had a very strong love for German shepherd dogs and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a hard worker who never gave up, beating cancer three times. Janice left an impact on everyone she encountered, and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her son; Kenneth Courter, daughters: Deborah Clairmont and Sherri Courter O’Neal; brother Larry Hoover; grandchildren: Jessica Courter, Christopher Arguinozini, Nicole Kellarakos, Jon Clairmont; Mark Clairmont, Randy Allen, and many dear friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandson Kenneth Courter, Jr.

Services will be private for the family.  Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
