Janet Olswfski

    Janet Olswfski, 91, of Howard, Pennsylvania formally of Cresco, Pa. passed away on Thursday Dec. 26, 2024. She was the loving wife of Joseph Olswfski. Janet was residing in Howard, Pa. for the past years with her step-daughter Peggy Sue Diaz.

  Janet was residing in the Cresco area for the past 50 years and prior to that of Hackettstown, N.J. area. She was of the Catholic faith. She worked as a restaurant manager for many years.

  In addition to her husband Joseph she is survived by her children: Thomas Freeborn, Arleigh Freeborn, Andrew Freeborn and Elizabeth Freeborn, step children: Peggy Sue Diaz, Joseph Olswfski Jr., Catherine Rosage, and Stephen Olswfski and many grand, great and great great grandchildren. Janet was preceded in death by a daughter Carol Bottiglierie.

   Funeral services will be held on Tuesday Dec. 31, 2024 at 11:00am at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 with Rev. Fr. Michael Quinnan officiating. Burial will follow in the Laurelwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home.
