James Edward Clark

James Edward Clark, 74, transitioned on March 5, 2024, in Yanceyville, North Carolina. He was the loving husband of Brenda (Fountain) Clark with whom he shared 52 years of marriage. Born in Harlem, New York, he was the son of the late Walter Vincent Clark and Anna Thrower.

James served the Lord as a Pastor for over 40 years and as the religion teacher at the greater New York Academy. He also served our county in the United States Marines. 

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Brenda Fountain Clark of Enfield, NC; children Kayshawn Clark, Andre Clark, Natahisa Clark and Elizabeth Clark Green, one brother Walter Vincent Clark, six grandchildren and a host of relatives family and friends.

There will be a funeral service on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Pocono Grace 7th Day Adventist Church 25 Lackawanna Avenue East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18301. The family will receive friends from 9:00 am to the time of service at the church.  Interment will take place on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Washington Crossings National Cemetery in Newtown, PA with military honors.
