James P. Dennis

   James P. Dennis 85 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Sunday Jan. 9, 2022. Born in Moosic, Pa. he was the son of John and Eva (Decker) Dennis. James was a lifelong resident of the Stroudsburg area. He was employed at the Weiler Brush Company of Cresco for many years until his retirement. James was a member of the Moosic Alliance Church in Moosic, Pa.

 James was a very loving and caring person. He enjoyed his home and garden and spending time with his friends and family members. He will be missed by all.

  James is survived by his life long companion, Harold Transue, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings: John Dennis, David Dennis, George Dennis and June Dennis-Smallacombe.

  Funeral services will be held on Friday Jan. 21, 2022 at 11:00am from the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. Burial will be in the Marcey Cemetery Duryea, Pa. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home.
