Jacqueline E. Flynn

Jacqueline Emery Flynn, 76, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Thursday, March 7, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono in East Stroudsburg.  Born in New Castle, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Henry) Emery.

Jacqueline worked as an algebra and geometry teacher at East Stroudsburg High School and later tutored at East Stroudsburg University. She also taught in California, Virginia, and Western Pennsylvania.  Jacqueline was past president of the American Association of University Women; former board member for Development Education Services, former board member and officer of Pocono Lively Arts and member of Poconos Kiwanis Daybreak.

She is survived by her daughter Courtney Flynn Stenberg and her husband, Eric; grandson, Dylan Stenberg; and son Shaun E. Flynn.

A memorial service will take place on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am to the time of service.
