Holly Beth Conway

Holly Beth Conway-Burchartz, 55, died Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Pocono in East Stroudsburg after a lengthy illness. She was the loving wife of Michael Manfred Burchartz with whom she shared 20 years of marriage.

Born in Honesdale, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Maralyn (Evans) Conway and Honorable Robert J. Conway of Honesdale, Pennsylvania.

Holly attended Honesdale High School in and went on to the University of Scranton to continue her studies.  She later attended Widener University where she received her Juris Doctorate and began practicing law. She worked as an attorney in Stroudsburg since 1992.  Holly was very active in her community and volunteered with many of the sports and activities her children participated in primarily Boy Scouts, Troop 300, Stroudsburg High School Cheerleading squad and the Stroudsburg High School Marching Band.  She was also an active volunteer with Monroe County Children and youth. 

Holly loved to travel and enjoyed the beach.  She took pleasure in making crafts and would frequently attend paint and sip events.  More than anything, Holly cherished her children and spending time with her family.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her children: Brandon and Jessica Burchartz; her father Robert J. Conway and his wife, Kathy; in-laws Manfred and Eva Burchartz; brother Brent Conway; sister-in-law Stephanie Atamanchuk; uncle Jerry Evans; many nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished friends.

A funeral service will take place on Friday, January 27, 2023 at 7:00 PM at the Joseph J Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.  Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until the time of service.
