Helen T. Curry

  Helen T. Curry, 98, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday March 21, 2025.  She was the widow of John (Jack) F. Curry. Born in Jenkins Township, Pennsylvania she was the daughter of Anthony and Josephine (Orlando) Amitia.

  Helen was residing in the Stroudsburg area for the past 65 years and prior to that of Pittston, PA. In her early years she worked in the Garment Industry for the International Ladies Garment Union and later she was a sampler handout person at the Shoprite Grocery Store in Stroudsburg for 20 years. She attended St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Stroudsburg, PA.

  Helen is survived by a son John Curry and his wife Denilee of E. Stroudsburg, PA and a granddaughter Jessica Lynn Curry.

 A Catholic Prayer service will be held on Tuesday March 25, 2025, at 11:00am at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA with Fr. Michael Quinnan officiating. Burial will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home.
