Hattie Ellis Obituary

Hattie Ellis, 88, of East Stroudsburg passed away at home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, March 6, 2021. Born in Wilson, N.C. she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Essie (Edwards) Ellis.

Hattie was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family and entertaining herself with crosswords. Hattie was a caregiver not only to her family, but for most of her life in the healthcare industry as well.

Hattie is survived by her children; Bonnie Moore, Alesia Brannic, Larry Moore, and Broderic Moore, Along with grandchildren; Edward Brooks, Joshua Jones, Charice Brooks, Brad Brannic Jr., Janay Brannic, Jaleisa Brannic, Ammira Smith, Khalima Green, Nehemiah Green, Tony Briggs, Jason Moore, Brian Moore, and Edward Brooks Jr.

Cremation will be private. The Joseph J Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is assisting the family with arrangements.
