Gerson L. Rodriguez

Gerson L. Rodriguez, 83, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2026, at his home with his loving family by his side. He was the husband of Luz Ruiz.

Born in Maunabo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Celestino and Gloria Monclova. Gerson was residing in the East Stroudsburg, Pa. area for the past 17 years. He was employed in the Service Department for Avis Car Rental in Newark, N.J. for many years. He was of the Christian faith.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his children: Edgardo Ruiz of Saylorsburg, Pa., Luis Ruiz and Irving Ruiz and Veronica Ruiz all of East Stroudsburg, Pa., 2 sisters in New Jersey and one in Puerto Rico.

There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00pm at the Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the services.
