Francisco L. Zambrano, 84, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Saturday, June 22, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the devoted husband to Maria (Viteri) Zambrano with whom he shared 60 loving years of marriage. Born in Chone, Ecuador, he was a son of the late Angel and Leopoldina (Intriago) Zambrano.
Francisco came to the United States where he worked as a Utility Manager for Howmedica for 26 years before retiring. He was an amazing, loving, and fair father and his family meant everything to him. He looked out and cared for everyone in his family. Francisco also enjoyed watching sports, mostly soccer and baseball with the New York Yankees being his favorite team.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his son, Dean Zambrano; daughters: Katie Rocha and her husband, Rick; Jacky Zambrano; Maria Ale; grandchildren: Christine Downey and her husband, Jeff; Stephanie Gonzalez; Joshua Ale; great-grandchildren: Gabriel and Havana Downey and many brothers and sisters.
There will be no services at this time. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
