Florence Violet McElroy, 99, of Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania died Thursday, November 20, 2025, at her residence. Born in Ireland, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Violet Kehoe.
Florence came to the United States in her early 20’s where she studied to become a US Citizen. She was a hard worker and enjoyed spending time gardening, doing lawn work, and tending to her flowers. Florence loved to knit and made many cherished items for her family. She was well known in the community as she would strike conversations with many people at grocery stores and while running errands. She was a warm, kind, and loving person with the sweetest smile. Her greatest love was her family, lovingly called Grandma Jo, she was a heavenly angel who has returned home.
