Edward J. Armstrong

     Edward J. Armstrong 76 of Bushkill, Pa. passed away on Wednesday Dec. 29, 2021 in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Pocono E. Stroudsburg, Pa. He was the loving husband of Judith M. (née Shaw) Armstrong. Born in Newark, N.J. he was the son of Donald and Eileen (née Hargadan) Armstrong. Edward was a resident of the Bushkill area for the past 22 years and prior to that he resided in the Union, N.J. area. Ed worked for the Ford Motor Company as a computer operator and later as a floor warehouse supervisor in Teterboro, N.J. for many years. In the army, Ed served in the Vietnam War and received an Honorable Discharge. He was of the Catholic faith. In addition to his wife Judy, he is survived by 4 sons: James Fitzpatrick and his wife Anne of Seaside Park, N.J., John Fitzpatrick and his wife Janet of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Michael Fitzpatrick and his wife Sandy of Flemming, N.J. and Christopher Fitzpatrick and his wife Antje of Germany; and 9 grandchildren: Haley, Andrew, Brendan, Madelyn, Shannon, Devin, William, Finnian and Quentin; and his 4 siblings: Donald Armstrong, Kathleen Ruvolo and her husband Charles, Maureen Krushinski, and Eileen Holub and her husband Peter. Graveside services and burial will be held on Friday January 7, 2022 at 12:00 noon in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery 225 Ridgedale Avenue, East Hanover, N.J. 07936.
