Dorothy P. Lyon

   Dorothy P. Lyon, 93, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday December 27, 2025, in the Brookmonth Health Care Center Effort, PA.  Born in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania she was the widow of Floyd Lyon.

Dorothy was a lifelong resident of the East Stroudsburg area. She was employed as a Telephone Operator for the Bell Telephone Company of Stroudsburg for over 40 years. She was of the Methodist faith.

   She is survived by her sister-in-law Nancy J. Griffin of East Stroudsburg, PA and a niece Lisa McGarry of Effort, PA.

  Private cremation services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Joseph J. Pula funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is in charge of the arrangements.
