Dorothy Gonzalez Obituary

Dorothy Jean Gonzalez, 80, of Whiting, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at the home of her daughter Laura in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. Born in Teaneck, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lillian (Anderson) Bottjer.

Dorothy was a homemaker most of her life working part as a bookkeeper for several years.

She is survived by a daughter Laura Gonzalez and her husband, Steven Allesch, of Stroudsburg, PA and a son William Gonzalez and his wife, Melissa of Dumont, NJ, a brother Robert Bottjer of Tennessee, and 4 grandchildren: Nicholas, Joseph, Daniel and Anna.

Private cremation services were provided by the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360
