Donald F. Koehler

  Donald F. Koehler 74 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Saturday Jan. 8, 2022. He was the loving husband of Donna M. (Larrison) Koehler with whom he shared 25 years together. Donald was raised in the West End area and spent most of his life in the Stroudsburg area.

   He was born in East Stroudsburg, Pa. the son of Floyd and Mary (Smith) Koehler. Donald was employed as a leader lineman for the P.P. & L. Company in Stroudsburg for 50 years retiring in 2017. He attended St. John’s Lutheran Church of Stroudsburg and he was a member of the Army nation guard.

  In addition to his wife Donna he is survived by a daughter Jennifer Koehler and her husband Jeff Hancock of Saylorsburg, Pa., a step-daughter Mindy Ditmars of Warren County, N.J. and a step-son Travis Ditmars of Kunkletown, Pa. and 7 grandchildren: Abigail Velasquez, Mikayla Velasquez, Jessica Bisbing, Brett Bisbing, Arron Paulus, Travis Ditmars Jr. and Kayla Ditmars.

  Funeral services will be held on Friday Jan. 14, 2022 at 11:00am from the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. Burial will be in the Gilbert Cemetery Gilbert, Pa. The family will receive friends from 10:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home. Masks will be required to attend.
