Donald G. Armstrong

   Donald G. Armstrong 87 of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Monday June 27, 2022. He was the loving husband of Janet Andrews Armstrong. Born in Brooklyn, New York he was the son of Chester and Sarah (Payne) Armstrong.

  Donald was a resident of the Stroudsburg and the Middle Village, Queens, N.Y., area for the past 32 years. Don was employed as an insurance agent for the Met-Life Insurance Company for 48 years retiring in 1997. He then later worked at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort as a golf starter for the past 15 years. Don was an Army veteran having served in the Korean War and he was a life member of the Barger Lodge F.&. A.M. Amerilla Lodge # 0284 Queens, N.Y.

  In addition to his wife Janet he is survived by 2 daughters: Tracey Armstrong and Leslie Armstrong, 2 grandchildren: Anthony and Angelia, a sister Barbara Wicks husband Ned of Dalton, Pa. and a brother Robert Armstrong wife Joan of Ellicott City, TN.

  Funeral services will be held on Friday July 1, 2022 at 9:30am from the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 with Rev. Paul Milligan officiating. Burial will follow in the Cypress Hills Cemetery Brooklyn, N.Y. The family will receive friends from 8:30am until the time of the services at the funeral home.
