Dominga Ares

Dominga Ares, 86, of New York, NY passed away at her home on Monday, April 26, 2021. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Jose and Pitra (Garcia) Areas.

Dominga was of the Catholic faith. She resided in lower Manhattan for most of her life. Dominga was a homemaker.

Dominga is survived by her children; Julie Aponte and husband Daniel of Stroudsburg, Brunilda Litwin and husband Stuart of Manhattan, NY, and Frieda Rodriguez of Trexlertown, PA, and Julio Nieves of Ocala, FL, and many grand and great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 from 10:30am-1:30pm, with a service at 1:30pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery, East Stroudsburg, PA.
