Debra A. Dunne

Debbie Dunne, age 52, passed away on Monday August 10, 2026, surrounded by her loved ones.

Debbie was an amazing woman, many people know her through her kindness, love and humor. Always enjoying a good joke and conversation with the people she cared deeply for. She was born on August 5, 1974, in Hicksville, New York to Michael Dwyer & Dianne Dwyer-Connan. She was their 4th daughter. Debra was the wife and life partner to Peter Dunne, who shared a very deep love for her, his little rose.

She was and will always be a wonderful mother to Kaitlyn (bo) her eldest daughter, her son Jasper (sunshine), her youngest child Lex (mini me) along with her other children, her comedian Christopher, her buddy Keith, her Ladybug Madison, her fearless Deandra, and beautiful Chris and any child that saw her as a mother figure. Her fur grandbabies, Marcellus & Gwaine. All of whom will carry her with them and remember her for a lifetime.

She was an amazing sister to Pappy, her eldest sister and card partner, her soul sister Marie (Fifi) and best friends, Heidi (barbie sister) and Bradley (brother), her brothers-in-law Matthew, James and her sister-in-law Raluca.

The fourth daughter of Judy & Michel, who has always treated her like family and accepted her into their home. Who made her feel welcomed and appreciated. Her second family away from home.

 All these individuals above will continue to share her light and love with us all.

She is survived by her husband, siblings, her children, nieces and nephews, and all of her family and friends. Anyone who had the opportunity and privilege to have her in their life will have her in their hearts. She will be remembered for eternity.

May her soul continue to soar and explore all that life is offering in her new adventure and journey. She will be missed but she will never truly be gone. She is in our hearts, and her love will be with us. Always and forever.

 A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 20, 2026, at 10:30am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church with Fr. Richard Czachor as celebrant. The family will receive friends from 4-8:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360 on Wednesday August 19, 2026.
