David Dean, 64, of Pen Argyl, Pennsylvania and formerly of Roxbury, New Jersey, died Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at his daughter's home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Dover, New Jersey he was the son of the late William and Jessie (Levens) Dean.
David was employed as a truck driver/operator. A lover of his Harley Davidson, he was known for his extreme winterizing of his Harley, taking it apart and reassembling it in his basement to protect it. He was also known for his love for animals. David had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. More than anything, he loved his family and appreciated time with them and his dog, Poppy.
He is survived by his daughters; Jessie Dean-Gerard and her husband, David Gerard; Roxann Dean; Heather Masino and her husband, Kevin Fornarucci; son: Richard Masino and his wife Stacie Gallo-Masino; grandchildren: Katie; Autumn; Brooke; David; Aidan; Lorenzo; Deanna; great grandchildren: Madison; Adelyn; Elijah; brothers: Victor Dean and his wife, Georgette Dean; Matt Dean; sisters: Janet Dean; Sheila Carey and her husband, Ted Carey; wife: Melody Waldron and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years Deanna Masino-Dean; nephew: Brian Dean; brothers: Billy Dean; Leon Dean; sister: Alice Best, and her husband John Best.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360
