Daniel M. Hook, Jr.

Daniel M. Hook, Jr., 84, of Bushkill, Pennsylvania died Monday, May 8, 2023, with his family by his side. He was the loving husband of Anna Marie (Santella) Hook with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. Born in Homestead, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Daniel M. and Mary (Pollack) Hook. Daniel was a resident of the Bushkill area for the past 30 years and prior to that he resided in Edison, New Jersey.

Daniel was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, was employed as a truck driver for UPS for 35 years and also worked as a mechanic for GE Aircraft. He was a very active member of the Catholic Church and the Bushkill community serving as president of St. John’s Senior group, Commander of American Legion post 514, President of Bushkill Golden Senior Group, and President of the board of directors for the Pine Ridge Community.

He is survived by his spouse Anna Marie, and his children and grandchildren; daughter and son-in-law Linda Hook-D’Innocenzo and Dr. Richard D’Innocenzo, son and daughter-in-law Daniel P. and Mayra Hook, son and daughter-in-law James A. and Evelyn Hook, and grandchildren Nicholas Daniel and Deanna Maria D’Innocenzo.

There will be a memorial service on Friday, May 19, 2023, at 11:00 am at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, 18360 with Fr. Gregory A. Reichlen officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of service.
