Obituary
Cyril T. Cullen 85, of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Friday March 17, 2023. He was the loving husband of Katherine (Cotter) Cullen with whom he had celebrated 60 years of marriage. Born in Drimnagh, Ireland he was the son of Darius and Ann Cullen.
Cyril was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 23 years and prior to that he resided in the Queens, New York area. He was employed as a New York City Fireman for 27 years and he was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville, Pa. Cyril was also an Amy veteran.
In addition to his wife Katherine he is survived by his 3 children: Kathleen Cullen and her husband Ralph Petruzzelli of Forrest Hills, N.Y., William Cullen and his wife Ann of Queens, N.Y., and John Cullen and his wife Nancy of Ridgefield, CT., a sister Jean Cullen of Ireland and 3 grandchildren: Connor, Thomas and Matthew.
A Memorial Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday March 31, 2023, at 11:00am from Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cherry Lane Road Tannersville, Pa. with Fr. Richard E. Czachor as celebrant. Interment of his ashes will follow in the Stroudsburg Cemetery.
