Cuthbert Holder Obituary
Cuthbert L. Holder 95 of Tobyhanna, Pa. passed away on Saturday Dec. 26, 2020 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the widower of Sixta Iris (Marquey) Holder.
Born in Manhattan, New York he was the son of Hamilton and Louise (Motley) Holder. Cuthbert was a resident of the Tobyhanna area for the past 32 years and prior to that he resided in the North Babylon, Long Island, New York area. He was employed as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Long Island for 30 + years. He was a Navy veteran having served in WWII and he was of the Episcopal faith.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Marcela Johnson and her husband Joseph P. and Lisa Holder Hopson and her husband Donald S. both of Tobyhanna, Pa. 3 grandchildren: Joseph W. Johnson and his wife Samiyyah, Adriana Johnson and Armando Hopson and 2 great grandchildren, Taya Johnson and Myles Johnson. He was preceded in death by all his siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 30, 2020 at 3:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. Private burial will be in the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery Annville, Pa.
