Cleola Boyd Obituary

Cleola M. Boyd, 79, of Stroudsburg died Friday, March 17, 2023 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bartonsville. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Grady and Dorothy (Wright) Braxton.

Cleola worked as supervisor for the New York Public Library. She enjoyed shopping, preparing a good home-cooked meal as well as dine out. Cleola appreciated the theater and would frequently attend Broadway and off-Broadway shows.

She is survived by her daughter; Lynnette Mobley and her husband, Harry, of Stroudsburg; grandchildren: Shaniqua Brown, Tyree Mobley, Daysha Mobley, Jazmar Boyd, Jamilia Boyd and many great-grandchildren.

There will be no services at this time. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
