Charles P. Johnson Sr.

Charles P. Johnson Sr. 54 of Delaware Water Gap, Pa. passed away on Thursday May 27, 2021. He was the loving husband of Inez E. (Riss) Johnson. Born in Suffern, New York he was the son of Emma (Dennison) Johnson of Middletown, N.Y. and the late Charles H. Johnson.

 Charles was residing in the Delaware Water Gap area for the past 9 years and prior to that he lived in the Tobyhanna, Pa. area. He was employed as a truck driver for the Penske Trucking Co, for several years and he attended the Faith International Church.

 In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by 8 children: Nazira, Charles P. Jr.,Aasan, Sean, Ronnie, Eugene, Tamika and Pedro, 15 grandchildren, and his siblings: George Bowman, Izella Rochester, Daryl Johnson, Sheryl Johnson, Samuel Johnson and Priscella Mendoza. He was preceded in death by siblings: Charles H. Johnson Jr., Carolanne Brodie, Sharon Johnson, Maurice Kelly Johnson, and Joey Bowman.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday June 2, 2021 at 7:00pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8:00pm at the funeral home on Wednesday June 2, 2021
