Carolyn Fonzetti, 72, of East Stroudsburg passed away Monday, April 5, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Scranton, PA she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Ruth (Lloyd) Olds. Carolyn was the wife of Rocco Fonzetti, with whom she celebrated 50 years of marriage.

Carolyn had resided in East Stroudsburg for the last 20 years, and prior to that in Little Falls, NJ. She worked as a teacher in North Arlington, NJ for 35 years before retiring. Carolyn was also of the Catholic faith.

In addition to her husband Rocco, Carolyn is survived by her son Marc Fonzetti of Somerville, NJ, grandchildren; Alexa, Jaxon, and Alicia, and sisters; Marilyn Ayotte and Nancy Carr. She is preceded in death by her daughter Elisa F. Cohen.

Cremation will be private. The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc. 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 is assisting the family with arrangements.
