Carol P. (Coffman) Warren, 78 of Cresco, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, March 7, 2025, at home. Carol grew up in Swiftwater and was the daughter of E. Ruth and George Coffman. Carol raised her three daughters in Henryville but also lived in Tobyhanna, Pa; Wells, ME; and Swansea, MA, before returning to PA. Carol fought bravely against Parkinson’s Disease for over 13 years with unwavering determination and a brilliant sense of humor. While she spent many of her years as a homemaker, Carol also worked at Monroe County Cooperative Extension Service, Tobyhanna Army Depot and Pocono Medical Center. Carol was an avid gardener. She could grow anything, and her homes always displayed gardens full of colorful blooms. Carol enjoyed sewing and crafting. Many friends and family display her lovely wreaths and other creations. She was a music lover and passed while listening to her favorite tunes.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Wesley N. Warren, daughters Karen (Frailey) Flaherty and her husband Timothy of Westport, MA; Monica (Frailey) Calemmo and her husband David of Mount Pocono; and Pam Frailey and her fiancé Rick Siliakus of Indian Land, SC; stepchildren Westley Warren and Jaimee (Warren) Mohan, both of Tonganoxie, KS. Carol’s greatest joy in life came from being Nana to her grandchildren: Adam Flaherty of Westport, MA; Amanda (Flaherty) Harger and her husband Garrett of Virginia Beach, VA; David Jr., Riley, and Morgan Calemmo, all of Mount Pocono; Kierstan (Warren) Unrein and her husband Devin of Lawrence, KS; Emma Elvira Warren of Indiana; Elijah (Marshall) Krug and her husband Joey of Santee, CA; and Kendall (Marshall) Higgins and her husband Dustan, of Leavenworth, KS; Jaeleigh and Joey Glenn; and great-grandchild, Maverick Higgins, also of Leavenworth, KS.
Carol’s family wishes to thank her caregivers, including LVHN Physical Therapy, Dongy Homecare, Monroe County Hospice, and Dr. Maria Shiptoski. A memorial service celebrating Carol’s life will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, 11:00 AM at “The Social on 209,” 2410 US 209, Sciota. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Lehigh Valley Hospice Pocono or Stroudsburg Area Music Supporters.
Private cremation was entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
