Carol A. Coppinger

Carol A. Coppinger, 72, of East Stroudsburg died Sunday, August 14, 2022, at her home.  She was the loving wife of Edmund Coppinger with whom she shared 54 years of marriage.

Born in Passiac, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Anna (Molitoris) Prelich.

During her working career, she was a sales associate at JCPenney for 21 years.  Carol was a huge New York Mets fan and loved taking her chances on the slot machines.  She enjoyed dining out with family and luncheons with her JCPenney friends.  Mostly, she cherished her grandchildren and time spent with them.

Along with her husband, she is survived by her son Edmund B. Coppinger and his wife, Cynthia of Stroudsburg; daughter Christine D. Coppinger of Nashville, Tennessee; grandchildren: Justin Walker; Kylie King and her husband, Dillan; Kavon Wilson; Dylan Coppinger; Mya Guillaume; and great grandson Kair Wilson, a sister Dolores Prelich. Carol was preceded in death by a sister Diana Prelich.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, August 20, at 1:00PM at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 North 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 with Linda Kiefer officiating.  Family will receive friends from 12:00 to the time of service.   Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc.
