Carmen L. Maisonet

Carmen L. Maisonet, 79, of East Stroudsburg, PA passed away on Saturday March 15, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Carmelo Velez Ayala and Rosa Elisa (Gonzalez) Rodriguez.

Carmen was residing in the East Stroudsburg area for the past five years and prior to that she resided in the Bronx, New York area.

She is survived by her children: Jeronimo Maisonet Jr, Pedro Luis Maisonet, Carmelo Maisonet, Rose Maisonet-Sanchez, Jeronimo Enrique Maisonet, grandchildren: Erica Gonzalez Maisonet, Carmen Maisonet, Sonia Maisonet, Arianna Maisonet, Pedro Maisonet, Jennifer Maisonet, Yadira Maisonet, Maigan Carmen Maisonet, Carmelo Maisonet Jr, Stepfanie Lee Maisonet, Joseph Gabriel Maisonet, Hollie Mercado, Rose Osorio, Victoria Ramos, Elsie Rodrigues, Jonathan Maisonet, Emmanuel Maisonet, great grandchildren: Anjili, Selena, Annia Tatiana, Gregorous, Xyierre, Madison, Tristan, Ethan, Sarina, Sophia, Aspen, Hailey, Liam, Aiden, Mila-Jae, Abel Jardani, Amari, Isaac, Elias, Edwin Adonis, Hazel, Matthew, Madison, Noah, Alannah, and Aaira.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 21, 2025, starting at 4:00pm at the Church of God Holy Ground 5205 Milford Rd. E. Stroudsburg, PA 18302. A final blessing service will be on Saturday March 22, 2025, at 10:00am at the church. Burial will follow in the Sandhill Cemetery Bushkill, PA.  The Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.
