Carmela A. Lombardo

   Carmela A. Lombardo, 88, of Tannersville, PA passed away on Saturday November 8, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Giuseppe Lombardo with whom she had celebrated 63 years of marriage. Born in Carini, Italy she was the daughter of Carmelo and Giusseppa (Canepa) Sansone.

 Carmela was residing in the Tannersville area for the past 20 years and prior to that of Ellenville, New York. She worked as a seamstress for many years and she was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church in Tannersville, PA.

  In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Caterina Lombardo and Josephine Saccheri and her husband Baldassare all of Tannersville, PA, grandchildren: Luca, Dario, Niko and Briana, great grandchildren: Benjamin, Sabastian, Leonardo, Reed and Vincenzo; siblings: Giovanna and Elena. She was preceded in death by grandson Adam Saccheri  and a sister Piepra Nania.

  There will be a Mass of Catholic Burial on Thursday Nov.13, 2025, at 11:00am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Cherry Lane Rd. Tannersville, PA 18372 with Fr. Richard E. Czachor as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery Stroudsburg, PA. There will be a viewing on Wednesday November 12, 2025, from 12-2:00 pm and from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
