Bruce Edwin Morgan Sr., 82, of Derry, New Hampshire, passed away surrounded by family on Friday, September 9, 2022, at his residence.
The son of the late John and Beulah Morgan, Bruce grew up in Newburgh, New York, and served in the United States National Guard as a Staff Sergeant. After marrying his wife Kathleen née Baltruk, he moved to New York City, where he worked as a banker for 33 years, raised his two children, and volunteered with Little League and the Boy Scouts. Bruce then retired to East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, where he lived for 20 years and embarked on his second career as a school bus driver for the Stroudsburg School District. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and collecting Hess trucks. In later years, he could often be found rooting for the New York Rangers with his family or watching old westerns on television.
Bruce is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Kathleen; his sister June; his son Bruce Jr. (Ewa); his daughter Kathleen (John); his grandchildren, Robert (Becky), Christopher (Jillian), Kimberly, and Joseph; his great-granddaughter Paisley and future great-grandson; and his many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings Edward, John, Lucille, and Lydia.
