Obituary
Bernard “Mac Daddy” E. McDuffy, 73, of Stroudsburg, died Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at his home. He was the loving husband of Monica (Schenck) with whom he shared 31 years of marriage. Born in Rahway, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Edward and Ida (Morrison) McDuffy.
Bernard proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. His service was incredibly meaningful to him. He loved cheering people up and caring for his friends that he called family. Bernard would take pleasure in sharing his lessons on life and travel recommendations. He mostly enjoyed time with his precious dog, Quincy.
Along with his wife, he is survived by his son Alec McDuffy, his beloved dog, Quincy and many neighbors he considered family.
A memorial service will take place at a later date. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N. 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
