Bernard Dautruche

Bernard Dautruche, 88, of East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania passed away on Tuesday July 25, 2023. Born in Haiti he was the husband of Venise Da of E. Stroudsburg, Pa.  Bernard was employed for the New York City Transit Company for many years. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his wife Venise he is survived by his children; Marie Elsie, Stuart, Bernard Jr., Van-Andrich, Herald, Philippe, Beatrice, Bernadette, Fabiola, Nicole, and Leveque Dautruche,  grandchildren; Hantz, Lorentz, Jessica, Brian, Eric, Tarick, Rebecca, Christopher, Sara, Jade, Jamie, Sara(#2), Rachel, Rihana, Rebecca(#2), Nataya, Nadie, Vaugh, Vanessa, Stuart Jr., Sasha, Ryan, Jonathan, Bryn, Emma, and Chloe Dautruche, a Stepson, Evens Da, and many family and friends from the Dautruche, Da, Brabham, Pierre-Louis, Chatelain, Hangsy, Boulof, and Champeaux families. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday August, 12, 2023, at 10:00am at the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. The family will receive friends from 9:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home. Entombment will be in the Mountain Laurel Mausoleum at Laurelwood Cemetery.
