Obituary
Avinash D. Ketkar 77, of Stroudsburg, Pa. passed away on Sunday April 9, 2023, at his home surrounded
by his loving family. Born in Bombay, India he was the husband of Sandra E. (Mulally) Ketkar with whom
he had celebrated 43 years of marriage.
Avinash was a resident of the Stroudsburg area for the past 42 years and he was of the Hindu religion.
Avinash was employed as an accountant with the United Nations/UNICEF for many years.
In addition to his wife Sandra, he is survived by 2 sons: Robert K. Taylor and his spouse Nicholas Fiallo
of Clifton, N.J. and Jeffrey C. Taylor and his wife Patricia VanVynck of Stroudsburg, Pa., grandchildren:
Abby E. Haight, Ethan J. Taylor, Meghan K. Ayres, Emmett A. Taylor and Sydney E. Taylor and 3 great
granddaughters: Vada M. Haight, June Ayres, and Luna Ayres, a nephew Narendra Ketkar and a niece
Madhavi Purohit.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family following the Hindu tradition. The
Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9 th . St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360 is in charge of the arrangements.
