Audrey E. Reid 79 of Long Pond, Pa. died on Friday Dec. 25, 2020. She was the loving companion of Clarence Wigfall Jr. sharing life together for 32 years. Born in Harlem, New York she was the daughter of Junious and Minnie (Winckler) Barnes.

Audrey was a resident of the Long Pond area for the past 18 years and prior to that she resided in the Queens, New York area. She was of the Christian faith and was employed as a Lieutenant for the Department of Traffic in New York City for many years.

She is survived by a daughter Arthena Mays of New Castle, Delaware, and 2 sons: George Reid Jr. of Long Pond, Pa. and Marcus T. Reid of Woodbridge, Virginia, siblings: Dolores Leonard, Oliva L. Barnes, Michele Green, Preston Barnes, and Gerald Barnes, 9 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son Aaron S. Reid and a granddaughter Michelle and siblings: William Barnes, Martha Headley, Raymond Barnes, Roger Barnes and Oliver Barnes.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday Dec. 30, 2020 at 12:00noon from the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th.St.Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. Burial will be in the Stroudsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the services at the funeral home.
