Anthony P. Covello

    Anthony P. Covello, 93 of Swiftwater, Pa. passed away on Thursday May 9, 2024 in the Walden III in Wind Gap, Pa. Born in New York City, N.Y. he was the son of Patrick and Nell (D’Alessandro) Covello.

  Anthony was a resident of the Swiftwater area for the past 45 years. He was of the catholic faith. He was employed as a police officer for many years; first with the New York City department and later at the East Stroudsburg Police Department.

  He is survived by 3 daughters: Andrea Wagner-Barton, Linda Covello and Barbara Covello, a sister Patti Pietschmann and a grandson Aidan Barton.

 Cremation services were provided by the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home Inc. 23 N. 9th. St. Stroudsburg, Pa. 18360. Burial of his ashes will be in the Tannersville Union Cemetery.
