Anne C. Tretter

Anne C. (Roh) Tretter, 96, of Monroe County, Pennsylvania passed Sunday, January 18, 2026. She was the loving wife of the late James and mother to the late Sharon. She is survived by her sons: Gary (Deborah); Robert (Deborah); and John (Sue) Tretter and daughter Cathryn (Michael) Lucia. She leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

She was a devout Catholic having been active with St. Luke’s Church for 30 years before her death.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Albina; siblings Marie, Joe and Frank, devoted husband of 50 years, James; and beloved daughter.

In the words of our mother, “Let the trumpets play.”

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at 10:30 AM at St. Luke’s Catholic Church, 818 Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, interment of remains will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery. Private cremation has been entrusted to the Joseph J. Pula Funeral Home, Inc., 23 N 9th Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360.
